I have thought about it, but have come to the conclusion that it isn't
worth it, I have Never had a bike or vehicle of any kind, on which the
distibutor was easier to get to and work on, checking, setting and
replacing the points is a piece of cake, they are cheap, I always carry a
spare set of points, condenser and a set of plugs, takes 10 minutes to
replace them. That is my humble opinion, which doesn't mean I won't try it
or think about it. I do know of many a headache that has come from doing it
on Brit bikes.
