Tim,
I have made a windshield out of a flat piece, and another out of a curved piece. My Wixom had no windshield, so I cut a flat piece of Lexan to fit, but I could only ge the bottom to hold a curve, where it bolted to the fairing. The top would flatten out, and when I rode into the wind, it would fold over, putting the wind right in my face.
I found, thanks to Rich Maund, that another windshield had the same curve as the fairing. I had to cut off about 10 inches, but it is perfect, and it is permanently curved, so it holds it's shape. I simply cut it with a hand saber saw with a fine tooth blade. I got some very wide masking tape, and taped it all up so I could draw on it with a pencil, and not scratch it.
I would find a similar winshield, and cut off what I needed.
