It's possible they followed Guzziology's recommendation and added a couple
cc's of gear lube?

Oil probably comes from leaky seal on gearbox output shaft, but some times
it mysteriously creeps up from bevel box. Don't know how. Check levels for a
while and see.

Maybe previous owner just thought he'd oil the UJ!
