Wasn't the reseve just a shorter tap on the inside of the tank?
What I do is to keep one side open at a time. If I run out there is always a
little fuel trapped on one side so either side will work as a reserve.
By the way, I am getting ready to install the new gaskets into the petcocks.
Anyone ever done this? Any tricks to getting it right?
Ian
Okay, so which side is the "built in reserve"???

Dave:
Harper's has original petcocks, but only the right side. I was told that
you can use the same petcock on either side, as the tank has a built in
reserve.
