I still think your idle jets clogged. When it's cold it runs on the choke
circuit so it probably would idle then.

town or on the interstate. I rode it home from work last night and it ran great all the way. When I got home, it died as soon as I let off the throttle. Sure seems like carbs to me unless one of the heads is loose. I would check for air leaks around the top of the carb and around the manifolds. Recheck your valve clearances. Im going to do that before I ride it again. Let me know what you find out...I will do the same.
