Yes, Cheesehead is right. I'm not talking about the rubber pads found on
1000cc bikes, but the small chrome half rings that fit onto the valve
cover. These are not headguards but shin guards, I would guess, so you
don't bump your shin on the head or valve cover. What I thought was
funny was when I saw a bike with them mounted on BOTH sides of the valve
cover!
I have taken them off as I reguard them as ornamental and not a
neccesary componant to the operation of my Eldo.
So, do we need headguards to protect the fins incase of accident if our
bikes don't have the big crashbars? Will the ones that Nolan mentioned
on the mgcl fit on all round fin engines???
