What Skip didn't mention is that he was kind enough to loan me his Bosch
starter to use for a week or so. It's great living so close to a MGNOC
state rep with quite a respectable stash of parts - not to mention his
cool bikes.
Oh yeah, he and Jane are simply great people, too :>
Shameless plug - if you've never met Skip, plan to come on down to the
last US MGNOC state rally of 2005...he's putting on a good one!

You can run a older bosch unit on a newer bike. Greg did one on his quota for awhile and my dad ran one on his Cali sport. -----Original Message----- From: Keith K <kkurb-@aol.com> Sent: Sep 2, 2005 5:52 AM To: Loopfram-@topica.com Subject: RE: Starter- anyone with a spare to sell? Those magnets glued in? Now you mention it, the Valeo uy I talked with said they were new and improved and had no problems with the magnets falling off. Wondered why he would have said that.I will look and see where I can get mine fixed perhaps. I had no idea those things were that touchy. Sure wish Bosch had a nice cross over, but talking to their rep they have nothing they can match. Greg Bender wrote:
