Sorry for the late reply - just got back from a business
trip.
I appreciate your input. I've been thinking quite a bit
lately about carb size. I'd sure like to hear more about your upgrade.
Did you go with PHM's off of a LeMans or later model 1000, or did you go
strictly after market. I've been thinking that CV carbs might work out
well - the 40mm CV units used on R-100s seem to work fine. Also, did you
use the delrin (sp?) intake stubs I've seen offered by MI or MG? What
did you end up using for air filters/battery covers?
