Had a great time at VMD, it was especially nice to meet some of the Loop list folks and see their machines....very impressive! Next year, I think it might be nice to meet a little earlier so that people aren't running off to go to the auction, or meet a little later so we can relax and share a few brews while we shoot the breeze...

I was actually kind of surprised that there weren't more loops down there this year, they were in abundance last year. I trolled the campgrounds a few times but didn't see any loops back there this year (except one sidecar rig) so I ended up throwing a tent on the infield over by the Ducati crew. The V7 Sport was a pretty nice '74 example and didn't appear to need much except some new switchgear a few other minor things. It went for only $5250 which I think was a pretty low price for it, I was guessing that it would get up to the $6000~$6500 range.
