Welcome Tom! Firstly are you getting spark at the plugs when you have them
out? Make sure the inside of the distributor cap is clean and free from
cracks and carbon build-up. The condenser could be the problem so it's best
to have a few of them handy. They can be bad from new.

Hi,
I am new to your list, but am having problems with a 67 V7 I bought
recently. I am not getting any spark. I have a new coil and put in new
points. I am pretty sure I set the points to the proper gap with the
left cylinder at compression with the pully slot aligned with the arrow.
I can see a spark when the points open/close.
I put a continunity check and I get a signal when I touch the arm of the
points with the housing. I do not when I disconnect the condensor. Do
I have a bad condensor, have it hooked up wrong, or is the proper
situation. Thanks.
