That and you need to make sure you use the new head and base gaskets with
the matching oval pushrod holes. Either that or it will rub away your
pushrods.

In addition to the differences Greg mentioned, the rockers for the T3 head
are different. When Guzzi made the 850 cylinders they moved the pushrod
tubes
outward away from the cylinder wall. The rockers were changed slightly to
match
the pushrod tube. The heads & rockers interchange with no problems but you
may need to grind a small amount of material from the push rod tubes of
stock
Ambassador cylinders. Newer Gilardoni cylinders have oval pushrod tubes &
will
work with either cylinder/rocker set up.
