Paul Linn and I had been thinking about ways to raise the front of the seat...but I don't think I'll need to do that anymore. |
5. Room for improvement - foam density. Even though I road all the way home on the seat (and my butt wasn't sore), I think the foam needs to be more dense |
I love my MG Classics solo after....filling in 2" of stiff foam in the
mid section of it to remove the dip in the middle...shove it between the
existing foam and the shell so you do not disturb the nice shape. I like
mine seat flat as a board to aid in moving around. Being longer legged
w/floorboards I sit on the rear 3rd of the seat where you get the
benefit of supporting all your...butt. The styling dip in the middle
only applies to the shorter riders.
I raise up the front of the seat for additional thigh support by using a
1/2" high rubber spacer on the top of the frame for the pan to rest on
and using large washers to "pinch" the front bracket againest the frame.
This sucker is much more comfy in the ergo dept. then my Bassa with a
custom seat!
