Yea harpers seats are the worse. I ended up having mine rebuilt using
memory foam by a local seat shop
http://asweetseat.com/It made a world of difference. The problem I found
with the gel seats is once they get hot they stay hot and hold heat. Maybe
good for the winter, but down here in FL, not to good
I also had to reglass and reinforce the pan around the mounting studs as
they pulled out of the pan.

I second what Lannis had to say! He was gracious enough to be my tour guide
on the way back and showed me some nice old roads. 11.5 hours to the comfort
of my dry home and a nice long hot shower. If you really want to do the iron
butt thing, I think a requirement should be for you to use the harpers seat!
Worst seat I have ever had to sit on! A wooden board would have been softer.
Come Tuesday I will be scouring the city for some gel padding and new foam
and have this seat done correctly. It was great meeting everyone and glad to
see folks have made it home safely.

Greg -

That's pretty amazing - I just spent 10 hours in intimate personal
contact with my Eldo and if someone told me I had to do another 5 to get
home, I'd pull over and sleep in the ditch. Good on yer!!

Grueling and "bun-numbing" is more like it...I wish I did have some
tingle left.

It was great meeting you, and I was really astonished at the quality and
quantity of loops and their owners that were there, and how far they
came...

I had a good time and hope to see you all again soon!

Lannis
