Thanks to all for the nice comments. I've also heard, "hey, you gonna
ride that or put it in the living room on display?" I'm going to ride
the snot out of it and try to keep it running and looking good, too.
There's no question I've spent way too much money on it. I've always
wanted to do this and could never afford it before. Don't plan on doing
it again. I'm actually going to be relieved when it gets scratched and
dirty. The best part is that I've done all the work except for polishing
the crank, installing valve guides, cutting valves, powder coating,
chroming, and painting. It won't hurt to say it one more time, this list
is great. I have been in way over my head (like with the rear drive)and
people here have taken the time to bail me out more than once. The
resources on-line are amazing.
I hope I did it all correctly and that it actually starts without
self-destructing. I keep thinking about it all, over and over again. Did
I remember to do this and that. Even dream about it some. Obsessive. I
wish it had a kicker. The wiring alone will probably take me another
year. Stay tuned for more questions.

That is going to be one outstanding restoration!! Been some nice ones
posted here lately and I love to see the end results of a these kinds of

resurrections. Just warms the cockles of my heart.

Nice work Ray......can't wait to see the finished product.
