Subject: RE: sidecover tab repair

My sidecover tab came loose years ago it started to rip the side cover
apart. My first attempt was to weld the repair but the heat burned the
paint off the side cover where i was welding (no biggy the paint job is
not that hot anyway). I ended up jb welding the tab in place and
filling in the tear. It has held up quite nicely.
