Kieth,
One of my Eldos had those support bars you are going to make. I thought
that it was pretty smart. It seemed to work well, too. I then used them
on another bike, just for a little extra insurance. I don't remeber
whatever became of them, though. They still might be in the shed,
attatched to an old gen bracket.
