The ball valve drops right into the breather tube coming up from the
engine. Put the breather box back in place and your done. My breather
box gave out years ago and Moto International gave this method as not
only the cheapest but the best method too.

great explanation. Thanks. Are you saying the ball valve upgrade is done
by swapping with the flapper inside the breather box rather than
removing the box and installing a separate ball valve assembly? Sounds
complicated, if so. Keep in mind I've never seen the ball valve.
