Well, that Florida scene isn't completely accurate. The snakes aren't native to Florida. |
Yet more proof that one of the most effective agencies in the entire world is the Florida Bureau of Tourism and Commerce. In addition being full of alligators that eat people, piles of rattlesnakes, more lightning strikes than any other state, regular hurricanes and tornadoes, blazing hot summers that can't be survived without airconditioning, and not a hill or curved road in the state...they have also convinced everyone that the two-inch long massive insects with long feelers that look like cockroaches, walk like cockroaches, and talk like cockroaches are actually called "water bugs" or "palmetto bugs" and NOT cockroaches....despite ALL this, they have the highest suburban growth (and tax) rates in the nation. I wish whoever's in charge of all that was running Moto Guzzi. We might be able to get parts when we need them..... Lannis (firmly ensconced in palmetto bug- and gator-less Virginia) |
Well, they may not have western diamondbacks, but they're the only state
in the nation with coral snakes with their horrible nerve toxin.
And all the rest of the stuff, I know they have.
I'm still stayin' home.
