Did you rebuilt the carbs? Maybe a little crud in the pilot jets or
passages slowing down flow? Add some Seafoam carb cleaner in the tank.
Is the mixture set lean?
Mine's a touch rich if anything on the low end. I'll use a little choke
only on a colder day but I shut it off as soon as it fires. Blip the
throttle a few times to smooth it out. Count to 5 let out clutch, a
sputter at the end of the driveway, sometimes one at the end of the
block and I'm good to go.
