Hi Ron:
J.C. Whitney sells a 500 pc metric o ring kit, ZX126773B for $19.99. I
pulled a couple out of it when I installed the heads on my 67 V700 for the
application you're describing. The kit has come in real handy a number of
times.

Loopers, The early model V700 I'm working on uses a long, one piece, hex headed |
drilled & threaded at the bottom for a head bolt on the top short stud. My V700 parts book shows the later, two part design w/a socket head nut & a gasketed cap to keep the oil where it belongs. The one piece design uses |
o-ring for the same purpose. Does anyone know the part # for the O-ring? |
what size it is? Thanks, Ron Komoroski Your free subscription is supported by today's sponsor: ------------------------------------------------------------------- Want a laptop?
