Any consensus on a break-in procedure for Gilardoni kits? The Guzzi
manual recommends maintaining low speeds on new cylinders for 500 - 1000
miles, but I assume that recommendation would be for the old style
cylinders.
I've read that "new" engines benefit from significant ring pressure in
the first 20 miles (I guess you get that from high load? hard
acceleration uphill?).
I don't have a lot of experience in this department so I'd like to hear
your thoughts.
Thanks,
Rob
