Thanks to all who replied on the throttle question. Don't you love it
when the real world evidence seems to lead you down the path you wanted
to go on? Ahhh...
I found a set of light weight throttle springs that I'll try, also. All
that combined with the RAM clutch might be the ticket.

another thing about the splitter - clean it extra well, and lube with
white lithium - it can really hang up and stop your slides from snapping

all the way down. but once it's done it stays pretty clean..

Hi Ray,
I chose a Super Practic over the Tomaselli for my project and have been
using the original on the '69. Bought a couple of NOS ones when I had
the chance, I too admire the design. Most use the Tomaselli to ease the
throttle effort - if the throttle, cables and splitter are all lubed
well with the Super Practic, the effort is nearly the same (from my
experimentation anyway). The Tomaselli is a slightly "quicker" throttle
though, requiring less twist for more go. I just don't care to have two
throttle cables - would seem to me the shorter cables from the splitter
to the carbs would leave less room for stretch and incorrect
synchronization. Just my $.02 worth. Charlie.
