Hey Bill...I enjoyed that one. My next door neighbor - shortly after he
moved into the house next door - was taking a shower when he saw a
fair-sized citrus spider leering at him from inside his shower stall. He
thought, "I can't take a shower with him looking at me." So, he rolled
up a bath towel and gave the spider a good snap. The spider was too
quick and ended up running down his arm. I think he called the
exterminators the same day.

All the spider discussion brought back memories....in 1981, I got a wild hair up my #%@# and took off from Pennsylvania for Florida on my 1973 TX 650 Yamaha. While living there, I rented a trailer and one day, while taking a shower, I looked out my tiny trailer sized 6" x 12" window, right about eye level, in the shower stall. Lo and behold, there was a huge spider looking back at me! Talk about freakie...try it while totally helpless, soaped up, wet, and naked! At that point, I figured, "what the heck, I made it this far"...so I finished the shower, found something bigger than he was, (if I remember correctly, I think I used a sofa or a refrigerator) and crushed him. A couple of months later, I bought a 1967 TR6R 650 Triumph Tiger (still have that one). Once, while heading down Route 301, about 75 mph, a bug the size of a golf ball flew into my left cheek. Felt like getting punched in the face. Needless to say, I moved back to Pennsylvania. Lord bless the Keystone State!!!!
