The wrinkle paint is rattle-can from Eastwood (http://www.eastwood.com)
We'll see how well it holds up over the next few months, but it seems
pretty tough. Took the Dremel w/abrasive wheel a while to get down to
bare aluminum on the two "finlettes" on the lower part of the cover.
Cheers,

Wrinkle paint looks great. What sort of wrinkle paint is
that? Professionally done or DIY? Do you have a source?

Thanks, -tom

Thanks Ray. I've done this on numerous Guzzis over the
years, but on
bare aluminum before. Was worried about this time, with
the wrinkle
black fairly fresh and all. Used a tiny brush and took
my time - still
managed to get some where it wasn't supposed to be.
Luckily it just
wiped off with a shop towel. Cheers,

Charlie,
I love the red "Moto Guzzi" on the covers. I had my son
do this in
white on G5 as I'm way too shaky for this work. Very
nice.
