Basically, if the bottom of the bezel is almost touching the flat aft of the speedo, it's the lower one. GF

I believe that your are right about the additional space. The V700 wiring is a little cramped when you mount the dash.

I had four of these together the other day. The ones from Ambassadors seem different than the one on my V7. There's a taller platform to support the speedo, maybe to space it up higher away from the top triple tree? Anyone know anythng about this?
