Hi Bob,
I posted two pics last night on my website on the "Photo Album" page.
Here's a link:http://www.loopframeguzzi.com/id17.htm
They're at the bottom under the previous progress pics. MG Cycle also
has a pic on their online catalog - go to the Windshields page and near
the bottom is a link.
I chose the Euro 850GT windshield for it's simplicity and because it
doesn't hide the bike. The total opposite of my big, old police fairing
on the '69. Protection will be less I'm sure, but still more than
adequate. Cheers,

Charlie, do you or MG Cycle have a pic of this esteemed windshield? |

Decided yesterday to test fit the Euro 850GT windshield I bought from MG Cycle to my homemade s.s. brackets. Not even close! My brackets are a good inch wider than the upper mounts on the windshield. Luckily, I had a pair of the chrome clamp-on type brackets laying around. After an hour of cleaning and shrink tubing the clamp area (to keep from scuffing my purty red powder) they were on and the windshield was in place. Glad I went with this 'shield instead of a National Cycle one, doesn't look another Harley wannabe and won't hide the beefy good looks of my Loop. Measuring the old NC shield I got from Dave O. the homemade brackets will work with it, so I guess all the time spent making them isn't wasted. I'll just use them on another project. If anyone would like to see the windshield and brackets in place (along with the just installed bar-end signals), I'll post some pics later today. |
