You don't even lose the low idle if you want.
The only downside I can think of- for a light clutch- is that when you
shift, you have to pay attention to keeping the rpms up for a smooth
shift. The engine decelerates much faster.
Someone might be able to argue that with a lighter flywheel, the drive
train will see more wear because of lower inertia contributing to
drivline slap, but I'm kind of skeptical about that. Just don't drive
around at 2000 rpms.

Last night I weighed each assembly on the bathroom scale (no real accuracy implied). The T-Bike unit weighed 16lbs; the 1100 Sport unit weighed 10. I'd like to ask those who have installed the light weight Ram clutch, or a lightened assembly - is there any down-side to running a light flywheel other than maybe loosing the slow tractor-like idle?
