Not concerned at all about keeping a battery hold down stock, just want to keep it in place. Thanx for the tip, will check out a few auto parts stores during my lunch break. |
The adjuatable top pieces they have may work, make sure that the threads for the side hooks are long enough for the shorter battery that we use. Or get some 1/4" threaded rod and bend a hook on it yourself, shrink tube it to make it look nice if you care. Think lawn tractor/Sears Hardware or one of the big box stores if you have them there.
Thanx also to John Prusnek for some tips/info. You guys gonna be at the National? Looking forward to meeting as many members of this board as possible to put faces to the names. |
I'm gonna try to be there, Suzanne's then newly restored black Ambo won people's choice when the National was in New Cumberland last time in 1998. Most likely because she parked it by the beer cooler and chatted it up with everyone.
John P - it scares me how much you look like my neighbor, except for that light blue engineers hat you wear........ |
Don't be scared. There are lots of us on your planet.
