Thanks John,
Just what I wanted to know. Thought that's where it went, just wanted to
make sure. I've used the Dremel w/angle attachment and abrasive wheel to
remove the powder down to the metal. A toothed washer and a dab of
Coppershield and I'll be ready to go! Cheers,

There is a ground wire that comes out of the loom and attaches to
the cable splitter bolt on the inside of the frame channel on my '69 and

'71 Ambos. Can't remember what it's from, but I do remember that there's

an external tooth washer between it and the frame.

 Hi all,
Spent the day working on the wiring of the '72 Ambo 1000 Special and
it's going much better than expected. Since I got this bike as a rolling

basketcase, I didn't see where the ground wire is supposed to attach to
the frame. The one I'm referring to is a stud terminal with an approx.
8mm hole. On my '69 this is grounded to the frame at the bolt holding
the cable splitter - is this the correct place? Thanks,

Charlie
