Hi Randy,
Since I currently don't have a fork lock, I don't ever lock mine. But, I
would like to be able to do so occassionally (like at Daytona or other
large bike gatherings). Sure, a bunch of burely guys could just lift the
bike and carry it away, but that sure is a lot harder to do than just
rolling it away (and get's more attention). I think I heard that over
400 bikes get stolen each year at Daytona bike week. Not that a Guzzi is
a high target bike, but I'm afraid that certain uneducated theives my
simply mistake the old loop for an old HD or something there is actually
a high demand for. :>

Guys, I knoow that this may sound strange to you, but. Does anybody actually lock their steering? I don't know the last time I even removed the ignition key from my 700. As far as locking my other bikes, I would have to find the keys first to lock my Harleys ignitions. Just a question, not trying to start any flame wars here. Curiousity sometimes sucks.
