Isn't that a standard coil pull switch but it is located incorrectly on the left side of the dash? The idea was that you pull up on the switch to activate the coils. When you did a police pursuit and pulled someone over, you just punched the switch down to kill the engine. But the key stayed on so all lights and radios still worked for roadside safety. Should be on the right side of the dash, no?

The crash bars were the first thing that caught my eye. They were probably put on that way so he could use the bags he has. And yes all the other items are also wrong. :) Don't you just love this list. Pat the wire you see on the left mirror is actually the throttle cables. Plus the mirrors are wrong. I have no idea what the funky switch control he has on the dash, but that should be a red light for the courtesy light usually attached to the windshield and he is also missing the coil disconnect pull switch from the dash. He does have an original left crash bar. True cop bikes usually had bags mounted with hinges outward so the lid stays open when the bike is on the sidestand. No pinstriping. Don't see an air cleaner in front of the battery. Brake pedal looks WAYYY too high above floorboard. Left side mirror at a bit of an odd angle. AHA! Rear crashbars are mounted maybe upside down? The upper end should be mounted into the frame gusset plates at the curve of the frame tubing. As mounted, these rear bars won't handle much abuse. Patrick Hayes Fremont CA Custom Guzzi wrote:
