The triumph guys always swore that spraying black barbecue (high temp) paint
inside your pipes before mounting them would prevent blueing. Never tried it
myself.

I'm having a set of new chrome loop pipes coated inside with a barrier
coating they claim will stop the blueing. I'll know in the spring how
well it resists heat discoloration and will report the results.
