Subject: RE: Wirth fork springs

MG Cycle has the Wirth replacement progressively wound front fork
springs listed on their website for $139.50. Has anybody here used them?

Are they significantly better than simply adding preload and heavier
fork oil to the stock fork springs?

I put them in my Eldo. I never had it together with the stockers so I
can't do a valid compare, but it doesn't bottom out, and I didn't need
to preload them. I use 40W oil.
