My 70 has a tag on the frame but it only says something about Moto Guzzi conforming to laws, etc... it does not have the VIN # or date of manufacture on this label. I can not find the VIN or date of manufacture anywhere on the frame. VIN # is on the engine casing. Was wondering if they did not put VIN # labels on some of the earlier Ambo's. Also, if anybody has some carb venturi's laying around, I would be interested in purchasing them, please contact me off the list. BTW, Dave W and Rob Prins, my wheels should be finished this week at the Powder coaters, so I will probably have your wheels ready for shipment/pick up this weekend, will send you an e-mail when they are ready to go. Keith, I have a 1968 that has the vin stamped into the steering head
and the engine case, and I have a 1970 that has a metal plate rivited to
the steering head with four rivits that has among other things the vin
and date of manufacture, and of course the vin on the engine as well.
