Hi, all. I pulled my spark plugs to do a valve adjustement, and the left plug was really fouled. It's never been that way before. I checked the timing, and it was not far off. I checked the setting of the idle jet screw, and it was one and a half turns, which is according to the book. I haven't dug into the carb yet, but I noticed the Uni foam air filters look pretty deteriorated. Do you think that might be the cause of the problem? Perhaps dirty air is getting in? Those of you that are not running the stock filter box, what are you using for air filters, and how well is it working for you?
