Thanks for the advice, my local auto parts store loaned me a blind
bearing puller kit and the bearing came right out. Well, actually the
sleeve that holds the bearing came right out. The bearing race came out
of the sleeve using an appropriatly sized socket and a hammer.
From the looks of both the races and the rollers, the race was
originally driven into the swingarm sleeve using the rest of the bearing
as a driver. Ouch. Nice roller sized depressions in both races and a
dent in the top of the rollers where they were pushed on by the inner
race.
Since the swingarm isn't exactly a high speed bearing application it
probably isn't critical that this bearing is pristine, but I figured as
long as I can see it I may as well service it.

The tips are split into four sections. There's a lip on the end that fits behind the bearing race, and a threaded spreader that you tighten up, locking the tip behind the race.
