Paul,
I did my wheels last year. Most of the spokes were loose but the ones
that were stuck got liberal doses of PB Blaster and several days to
think about it. I went back and some of those turned now, the others got
more Blaster and a few more days. Two nipples broke on me, no spokes.
Patience, lubricant, patience. Man, those stainless spokes cleaned up
real nice, as did the brass nipples. Beautiful. I coated them with
Eastwood's Nyalic.
I hadn't spoked and trued a wheeel in almost 30 years so had to relearn.
It took me about four hours per wheel! Good thing I wasn't getting paid
by the job.
