<P>I recently bought a recent copy of Motorcycilist (unusual, because I'm a cheapskate), and I enjoyed it. Good historical stuff...I ride a Guzzi , so I am intersted in other brands from a technology and style perspective, but I'd almost feel like a traitor If I were to ride a different make... </P>
<P>I was on a Kawasaki Concours head-trip for a while, until my neighbor let me ride his and really wring it out...A nice bike, but not what I expected...lots of buzzing and shifting necessary..I couldn't wait to get back to the locomotive-like torque and thunder of my 30-year-old 850-T... </P>
<P>To me, the Motorcycilist mag seems designed to sell bikes and keep manufacturers happy by including them in award articles with write-ups such as winner of the "Best Integration of Engine and Frame" category, or something like that for the Harley-Davidson Sportster...But I guess that the nature of the biz...And besides, nobody put a gun to my head to buy it...Wouldn't it be fun to work for one of those mags? One with frequent mandatory visits to Mandello del Lario...</P>
