My 950 Eldo runs very hot, too, but both sides seem equally hot. Maybe
one of your jets is restricted? Maybe imperfect ring or valve seal on
the right side? Bring it over, and we can do a leakdown and carb synch.

Left side is working great no coloration on the header even after long idle other than a little brown. Right side is super hot, blue to purple after cruising slow or long idle, it runs cooler on the road at speed but still blue compared to the left side. As well on long idle or stop and go my oil is overheating, loosing pressure etc. I know I need to sync the carbs and get them dialed in and that should richen it up at idle and assure one cyclinder is not pulling the other along.
