greetings, loopers!
after 19 years of living in a big cardboard box, Caroline, the '70 ambo
roared to life, man, these old guzzis' are great! all i did was freshen up
the drive-train, and my kid brother did virtually everything else- paint,
wiring, polishing, and assembly. this is without a doubt the prettiest ambo
i have ever seen [sorry, Ian!] and i will say that the jc whitney large
mouth dunstalls [prolly emgo's] sound freaking fantastic! [much, much,
better than my old small mouth dunstalls].
last night i tweaked the carbs and a few other minor details, and Steve
roared off down his 1/2 mile long driveway. coming back, i could see his
teeth from far away- wow, is he happy! unfortunately, he has some family
commitments, and so won't make the Pa. rally, but will be at road-runners
next weekend [reading center, ny-paradise park campground].
i will bring pics of the bike to the Pa. rally today [yeah, it's still
raining. been riding every day in the rain, seems like. the sport now has
brown mufflers. :>/ sigh...] hopefully, Joe Casey will bring pics of his new
'73 eldo too [wow, was that a cheap[!!!] bike!
sow-- the Pa. rally is something like 10 miles north of loch haven, on
664. it's very near the haneyville, Pa. fire dept. hope to see some of ya'll
there!!
