I used the VM38 on the loop racer, they work very well with my heads &
exhaust system but would be way to much carb for a stock Ambo. The VM28 or maybe
the VM30 would be the way to go. As Fred pointed out, you would need manifolds
to mount the Mikuni's to the Ambo heads. I have not looked into mounting the
smaller Mikuni's on an Ambo but it should not be to hard to work it out. My
Sudco Mikuni Tuning manual shows the spigot O.D. on the VM28 at 35mm, the VM30
spigot O.D. is 40mm.
