I have been having this problem for a while - (some of you might remember me
wrighting about top end acleration a while back) it just has gotten really
bad and I found the problem of pulling the throtle cables individually. I
have taken the carbs apart several times and putt in new kits and pilot and
main jets. I am pretty sure they are in the corect way but I will go check
again. I hope that is it because I do not think I can find a guy that will
know how to replace guides and valves for $30 bucks + parts.

70 ambo with about 25,000 miles - the only engine work done was new cast
iron sleeves at about 20,000 miles.

Hi Jason,
Is there slack in the enricher (choke) cable on the left side? Have you
replaced the choke slides or checked to make sure that the rubber seal
on the bottom is not deteriorated or cracked? Did this begin happening
suddenly or gradually? Have you had the jets out recently (it's easy to
switch the idle and main jets - they look the same). Cheers,

1. Left side plug fouls out all of the time.
2. When the engine is started and both cyclinders are firing - I pulled
up
on the throtle cable on the right side the engine reved as expected.
When I
tried the same thing on the left cylinder the motor bogs down and does
not
rev up. What could be causing this?

Thanks,
