Subject: Fuel tank filler assembly removal

I had to get a gas tank to replace one of mine that was leaking (I tried
using a sealant on the one I had but it didn't work). The replacement
tank has some dents and there are some paintless dent removal operations
in town after the hail storm we had not long ago and. I was told you
could remove part of the fuel tank filler (this should make it easier to
get the dents out),but I can't figure out how.
Hints?
