I should have said all the aluminum risers I have seen as original
were on 4LS and DB models NOT on 2LS models. My 1974 Amal carb/4LS had
aluminum risers and painted fenders I was the second owner . It had 4000
miles on the clock when I bought it.
My friend just bought a painted fender DB 1975 Eldo with white tank and
black painted fenders equipped with the plain steel risers .AND the
large siren bracket. Guzzi has made many variations on the theme .

If it had a siren mount and chrome fenders, it's rare enough that I've
never seen one.

I've had two 4LS with chrome fenders. Neither had the AL risers. I've
also seen disc bikes with steel risers. Memory of bikes I've seen
suggests (we don't know how they came from the factory; just what
they're wearing now) that the AL risers came into use sometime during
disc-brake production. I had a set of the AL risers on my 73, but they
came off a Dec. 1973 disc-brake bike. Mark has them now.

Don't think it was rare at all ! Rex has it now . I don't have any
loops . The DISC brake and 4LS models had aluminum risers with chrome
fenders . Every chrome fendered 2LS i saw has steel risers .

Congrats, Gary, you've apparently got the rarest of the rare. No need
to worry about saving for retirement any more!
