Lannis, we should also mention that the choke tube
o-rings can be worn out. I think this would cause the
bike to run rich, but am not sure. While you have the
carbs apart take a look at them. I'll be replacing the
ones on my Vert any day now.
Indy, Moto Guzzi Classics re-bonds the shallow-spline
clutch plates. I bought a set last year and am very
pleased. They cost as much as new, so there is no
price savings, but they have the advantages of being
bonded rather then rivited and of being a solid plate
rather then spoked (like the Sureflex).
