I've put a 7/33 in an Ambo housing. Until you snug up the bolts you
swear it will rub on the sides because it is a larger diameter then the
older 8/35.
Ambo 8/35 = 4.375 ratio
Eldo 8/37 = 4.625
7/33 = 4.714
8/33 = 4.125
The 7/33 "should" feel quicker.
