Felt like such a wimp last Sunday. While at the DC Cycle World show, I
bumped into local rider Bob McKeithen who had ridden to the show on his
Bassa. Though the temps got into the 20's, it was still plenty cold with
the breeze and all. Bob looked kinda' like the Pillsbury dough-boy's
evil twin with all the gear he had on. Bob's a bit hardcore anyway
having completed a trip to South America and back last year on the same
bike. Cheers,
Charlie

Saw a guy come into the store the other week, luckily the one day that week I was able to ride the Guzzi to work.....he was like a caricature of "the biker image" from his hair to his studded engineer boots. Tattoos, ragged levi vest, chain belt and wallet fob, chrome wraparound shades, patches, colors, fingerless gloves; and got into a 1990 Ford Taurus when he left. I guess in his mind, I was some sort of fairy for wearing a plain Tourmaster nylon/kevlar jacket. Lannis |
