Happy Holidays y'all.
We miss the snow on Christmas day but damn it's a beautiful day here.
Was assembling the top end last night (again, don't ask). When it was
together and ready for valve lash adjusting I used the generator pulley
nut to turn the motor over. As soon as it was tight, the motor refused
to turn anymore. Loosen it up and it turns by hand from the flywheel.
Tighten it up and no-go. Dreamt about this last night, dammit.
Any ideas? This is why I was reluctant to put together without any
regard to crank endplay, although I don't know that it is the culprit.
