Charlie:
I remember someone trying to go cross country with a converted
alternative fuel engine, run on oil from deep fryers along the way. This
would make for interesting rallies, instead of bar hopping we would go
McDonald's hopping.
Which reminds me of my methane powered motorcycle concept, run on an
alternative fuel that you produce personally. The bike is fitted with a
custom seat to collect the 'fuel', rally sites would be Mexican restaurants.
Then there's my 'concrete tires and rubber roads' idea...

The idea is to eventually use an alternative fuel (biodiesel or processed used vegetable oil) in most of my vehicles. The resulting exhaust smells mostly of french fries and is better for the environment, the fuel is biodegradable in the event of a spill and can actually be better for the engine burning it than dino-diesel. I'm not totally nuts - there is a logical reason for most of my odd-ball ideas! Cheers, Charlie. |
