I'm sure with the exchange rate now it would cost more, but when I had
SRM do the job it cost $560 total including shipping both ways. This was
two 19" rims drilled to fit, 76 stainless spokes and nickle-plated
nipples, the lacing and truing. Not too bad considering Buchanan wanted
$1100 for the job if they could get suitable rims. There was a company
in the NE somewhere (Mass., VT? - advertised in Walnecks, does
Britbikes) that sounded like they would do a good job, but couldn't
guarantee when they would have rims.

If anyone finds a US supplier for Morads, please let us all know. I have
a couple of Loop hubs that I'd eventually like to make complete wheels.
Cheers,

Charlie

I don't know who might sell Morads in the US, but I have bought a couple
of sets (for Ducatis and Triumphs) from Road and Race Engineering in
Australia. Phil Hitchcock is a good vendor to know. I bought a rim
drilled to my spec about a year ago for around $200 shipping included.
The Morads are built on the old Akront equipment.
